Do I need a referral from my regular veterinarian for special services? For orthopedic surgeries and other cases where a previous veterinarian has been consulted, all pertinent records, radiographs, and laboratory results should be forwarded to our office before the appointment. For orthopedic cases we have a special referral form that should also be filled out and sent to us ahead of time by your veterinarian.
